The Alachua Chamber hosts the City of Alachua’s Christmas Parade annually the second Saturday of December. The Parade features dozens of parade floats, entertainers, local school organizations and more. The Chamber, in 2024, began to pair this event with a new event series – Christmas on Main, which is held the first Friday of December. Christmas on Main features a pedestrian-only Main Street with several activity areas for children to enjoy the season. These events are held along Alachua’s historic Main Street and in partnership with the City of Alachua.
